After years trapped in the prison of perfectionism, body-control, and emotional self-abandonment, she didn’t find freedom on a yoga mat, in a fitness program, or in another “fix yourself” wellness routine.

She found it on a bathroom floor — the moment everything cracked open — and in the months that followed as she walked barefoot across continents, stripped her life down to truth, and listened to the wisdom her body had been whispering all along.

Her journey through France, Malaysia, India, and beyond taught her what five years of chasing control never could: your body is not a problem to solve — she’s a compass home to yourself.

Ashton DuPree is a somatic guide and creator of The Embodiment Compass™ Method.

Her transformation began on a bathroom floor in Oklahoma and unfolded across four continents — from ancient manors in France to rainforest treehouses in Malaysia — where she learned to trade perfectionism for presence and control for embodied freedom.
